ChampCohen worked with the Salk Institute to design the style, templates, and initial flagship news magazines for the organization, beginning with “InsideSalk” – the institute’s quarterly magazine for donors, staff, and colleagues. We designed the publication in a magazine format to communicate general information about the campus, the institute’s scientific breakthroughs, and upcoming events. The newsletter “From The Bench” was also designed with a focus on the science behind the research at the institute. With the successful reception of the two new publications, the institute asked us to design educational program brochures and their annual reports.
